Our Story

Wind Sensations got its start the old-fashioned way — at a market stall, face to face with customers who wanted something a little more fun for their front porch. That market was The Windmill, one of the top farm and craft markets in the country, tucked in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes wine region. For over 30 years, The Windmill has brought together nearly 200 local makers, artists, and vendors, drawing up to 10,000 visitors on a Saturday. Wind Sensations has been part of that community since the beginning — and it's where our love of decorative flags, mailbox covers, and yard décor really took root.

Today, we bring that same spirit online: a huge selection of decorative flags, mailbox covers, yard signs, and seasonal décor from some of the most respected suppliers in the country, backed by real people who want you to love what shows up at your door. If something's not right, just let us know — we'll make it right.

Find us in person: Saturdays and holidays, mid-April through October, at The Windmill Farm and Craft Market, on NY Route 14A between Penn Yan and Dundee.
